CHAPTER 20 PART l & ll : DASAS Of Several Bhava Lords And Their BHUKTHIS

“ ll भावेश्वरेण प्रबलेन येन यद्यत् फलं
हीनबलेन येन l
यदानुभोक्तव्यमनन्यसम्यक्संसूचयिब्यत्यथ संग्रहेण ll
“.........१.
1. The
effects derivable from a strong planet and which is in his own house , and the effects
when he is weak are given in this chapter.
These effects will during such periods by a native , are given in this
chapter.
“ ll लग्ने
बलिष्ठे जगति प्रभुत्वं सुखस्थितिं देहाबलं सुवर्चाः l
उप्र्युपर्यभ्युदयाभिवृद्धि: प्राप्नोति बालेन्दुवदेष जात: ll “.........२.
2. When
the ascendant is full of strength, the Native will attain eminence and lead a
happy life, during the Dasa of the LORD Of ASCENDANT. The Native will be healthy and his face will
be full of luster. He will prosper in
life as the moon’s bright half increases. (बालेन्दुवदेष).

पाकेऽर्थनाथस्य कुटुम्बसिद्धिं सत्पुत्रिकाप्तिं सुखभोजनं च l
प्राप्नोति वाग्जीविकया धनानि वक्ता सदुक्तिं सदसि प्रशस्ताम् ll.........३.
3. When
the Lord of the 2nd House operates, the astrologer is to predict
either success or acquisition of family, good daughters, good palatable and
enjoyable food, earn money through giving speech and the person will be
eloquent and will get appreciation from the audience.
“ ll शोर्ये सवीर्ये
सहजानुकूल्यं संतोषवार्ताश्रवणं च शौर्यम्
l
सेनाप्तित्बं लभतेऽभिमानं जनाश्रयं सद्गुणभाजनत्वम् ll............४.
4. When a
Planet with good strength is in the third House , the Native will with full velour and with the
help of his brothers and sisters, will hear pleasing news and due to his velour
will become a commander of the army and will be honored and supported by the people and become
popular for his good qualities,
“ ll बन्धूपकारं
कृषिकर्मसिद्धिं स्त्रीसङ्गमं वाहनलाभमेति
l
क्षेत्रं गृहं नूतनमर्थसिद्धिं स्थानप्रशस्तं च
सुखेशदाये ll...........५.
5. The
Native having planet with good strength
in the 4th HOUSE, will help the relatives, will be benefitted from
farming, will have good relationship with his wife and will have lot of female
friends, will get vehicles, will get new agricultural lands and house, wealth
will get good position etc.

पुत्रप्राप्तिं बन्धुविलासं नृपतीनां
साचिव्यं वा धिशदशायां बहुमानम् l
प्राज्येभोज्येर्मृष्टामिहाश्नाति ददाति
श्रेयकार्यं सज्जनशस्तं स विदध्यात्

6. During
the Dasa of the fifth house the Native will get a son, will have happy
association with relatives and might become a minister, and get laurels from all
sides, involve in virtuous deeds, will get honors and promotions and praise by
all, will get wealth, good food and enjoyment provided the Lord of the 5th
House, if it is strongly disposed.

रिपुत्रिहन्ति साहसैररिश्वरस्य वत्त्सरे
l
अरोगतानुदारतामधुष्यतामतिश्रियम् l “..............७.
7. When
lord of the 6th house is strongly disposed, the native during the Dasa of the 6th
house will conquer the enemies with his dare devil acts, will have good health
and will be powerful and will be highly liberal towards his people and wealthy and
prosperous.
“ ll संपाद्य
वस्त्राभरणानि शय्यं प्रीतो रमण्या रमतेऽतिवीर्तः l
करोति
कल्याणमोत्सवादीन् सन्तोषयात्रां च मदेशदाये
ll “............८
8. During the DASA period of the
Lord of the 7th House, if it is strongly placed, the native will be
blessed to have good clothes, ornaments and will have a happy conjugal life
with his wife since his virility and physical strength will increase and in his
house will be celebrated marriage functions and other auspicious function and
the native will undertake pleasure trips,
“ ll ऋणविमोचनमुच्छ्रेमात्मन:
कलहकृत्यनिवृत्तिमूपैतिस: l
महिषपश्वभृत्यजनागमं वयसिरन्ध्रपतेर्बलाशालिनः ll

9. When the
Lord of the 8th Houses has full strength, during his Dasa period the
native will be discharged of all his debts (ऋण विमोचनं) He will be promoted, he will be cleared from all
disputes. The Native will acquire
buffaloes, cattle, goats and servants.

स्त्रीपुत्रपौत्रः सहबन्धुवर्ग्गैभाग्यं श्रियम् चानुभवत्यजस्त्रम् l
श्रेयांसि कार्याण्यवनीशपूजां
भाग्येशदायेद्विजदेव भक्तिम् ll “..........१०.
10. During
the Dasa period of the lord of the 9th House (DHARMA BHAVA),
provided it is fully strong, the native will enjoy prosperity throughout his
life, will be happy and wealthy with wife, sons and grandchildren, relatives
and will perform puja to Gods and will pay respects to Brahmins. He will also
perform meritorious acts.
“ ll
यत्कार्यमारब्धमुपैत्यमुनेन तस्यैव` सिद्धिं सुखजीवनं च l
कीर्तिं प्रतिष्ठां कुशलप्रबृत्तिं मानोत्रतीं कर्मपतेर्दशायाम् ll “............११.
11, During
the Dasa period the 10th House (कर्मभावम्), provided it is strong in all respects, the native will succeed in all his
attempts, and lead a happy life and will be well reputed with good name and
fame. He will get involved in virtuous
acts for which he will get a permanent position.
“ ll ऐश्वर्यमव्याहतमिष्टबन्धु समागमम् भृत्यजनाश्च
दासान् l
संसार
सौभाग्य महोदयं च लभेत लाभाधिपतेर्दशायाम्
ll “...............१२.
12. In the
11th House which is called LABHA STHAANA the native will enjoy good
prosperity through-out the DASA period will be wealthy, will meet his
relatives, will have lot of servants and
slaves and will a happy and prosperous
Home life, provided the lord is having good
strength through-out.

व्ययेशितुर्वयस्यतिव्ययं करोति सज्जने
l
अघौघनाशिनीं शुभक्रियां महीशमान्यताम्
ll “ ....................१३.
13, the
native will be extravagant in spending for good causes, and to get rid of bad
effects of the sins committed by him, he will spend money. He will be honored by the king.
“ ll वक्रगस्त निजतुङ्गसुहृत्सुस्थानगस्य दशां फलमेवम् l
शत्रुनीचागृहमौढ्यषडन्त्यच्छिद्र तु फलान्यपि वक्ष्ये ll “............१४.
14. the
above good effects which have been described above in verses 2 to will take effect only if the LORD OF THE HOUSE CONCERNED IS POSITIONED AS RETROGRADE PLANETS OR
WHEN THEY ARE IN EXALTATION POSITION OF THEIR OWN, OR POSITIONED IN THEIR OWN
SIGNS.
THE NATIVE WILL BE GETTING ADVERSE EFFECTS IF THEY
ARE POSITIONED IN INAUSPICIOUS HOUSES, INNIMICAL HOUSES OR IN THEIR
DEBILITATION SIGNS OR IF COMBUST.( INAUSPICIOUS HOUSES ARE 6th, 8th
and 12th HOUSES
“ ll दुःस्थे
लग्नपतौ निरोधनमुपैत्यज्ञातवासं भयम्
व्याध्याधिनपरक्रियाभिगमनं स्थानच्युतिं चापदम् l
जाड्यं संसदि वाक्कुटुम्बचलनं
दुष्पत्रिकांदृग्रुजं
वाग्देषं द्रविणव्ययं नृपभयं दुःस्थे द्वीतीयाधिपे ll “.................१५.
15. If the
Lord of Ascendant is placed in a bad way it will cause imprisonment to the
native during the DASA period. He will
be also threatened by leading an incognito life. The Native will be always fearful, will
suffer from diseases, and also will be anguished through-out the Dasa period
will have to join funeral rites, will lose his position in the society and in
occupation and also suffer from many misfortunes.
When the Lord of the second house is similarly
positioned, the native during the Dasa of the 2nd House Lord will
behave in a stupid manner in an assembly of people and other audience. He will
not keep up his words with people and wife and suffer from eye diseases will
incur loss and use harsh words to others, incur lots of expenditure, receive bad
tidings, will receive displeasure from the king (government).

दुश्चिक्याधिपतौ महोदरमृतिं कार्ये दुरालोचन –
मन्त:
शत्रुनिपीडनं परिभवं तद्गर्वभङ्गं वदेत् l
मातृ
क्लेशमरिष्टष्ठमिष्ठसुहृदां क्षेत्रग्रहोपप्लुतिम्
पश्चश्चादिविनाशनं जलभयं पातालनाथेऽबले
ll “...............१६.
16. When
the Lord of the 3rd House is weak (दुस्थानम्), the Native will lose his brothers/Sisters during the Dasa period , the
Native will heed to evil counsel in all his work., the native will be harassed
by enemies (शत्रुनिपीदनं;
when the Lord
of the 4th House is afflicted in the same manner , there
will be troubles to the Native’s mother and dearest friends, will suffer loss
of property and agricultural lands, destruction to cattle etc, humiliation ,
fear from water, etc.
“ ll वीर्येने
प्रतिभापतौ सुतमृतिबुद्धिभ्रमं पञ्चना –
मध्वानं ह्युदरामयं नरपते : कोपं स्वशक्तिक्षयं l
चोराद्भीतिमनर्थितां च दमनं रोगान् बहुदुष्क्रितिम्
भृत्यत्वं लभतेऽवमानमयशःषष्ठेशदाये व्रणम् ll..............१७.
17. When
the Lord of the 5th House has no strength , the native will lose his
son, the Native’s mind will be derailed, he will incur the displeasure of the
king (government), the Native will get deceived by others, will lose his
strength, will be a wanderer, will suffer from stomach disorders, he will have
to face the wrath of the KING (GOVERNMENT), will feel physical weakness.
If the Lord of the sixth house is weak, the native
will feel weakness, subjected to theft, will become poor, will suffer from
diseases, and will indulge in undesirable acts and will be humiliated and
treated in a bad way by others, will become a slave (भृत्यत्वं), will injure or will have injury marks on his body.
“ जामादुर्व्यसनं कलत्रविरहं स्त्रीहेत्वनर्थागमं
द्यूनेशे विबलीन्यसत्यभिरतिं गुह्यामयं चाटनम् l
रन्ध्रेशायुषि शोकमोहमदमात्सर्याधिमूर्च्छोच्छ्रितिम्,
दारिद्र्यं भ्रमणं वदेदपयशोव्याधिनवज्ञां मृतिम् ll............१८.
18. When a Native has the Dasa of the 7th
House Lord who is very weak the
Son-in-Law of the native will be in distress,
the Native will be separated from
His wife ( कlलत्रविरहम् ) and some untoward incident
will happen to him due to
women, (स्थ्रीह्त्वनर्थंम् ), will have illicit relationsip with prostitutes or other such
women and thereby suffer from venereal diseases (गुह्यामयम् ), he will wander aimlessly.
If the lord of the 8th House is badly
placed the Native will be suffering from great sorrows, will be wanting of
intelligence, will have desire for sex, and will be jealous of others. He is likely to become unconscious due to
fits like disease, will be suffering from poverty, will ramble, will lose his
reputation, will be sickly. And suffer from humiliation and will have his death
by the end of this Dasa.
“ ll पूर्वोपासितदेवकोपंशुभं जायातनूजापदम्
दौष्कृत्यं स्वगुरोः पितुश्च निधनं दैन्यं शुभे दुर्बले
l
यद्यात्कर्म करोति तत्तदफलं स्यान्मानभङ्गो नभो –
भावे
दुर्गुणतां प्रवासमशुभं दुर्वुत्तमापत्रताम्
ll “...........१९.
19. The
native will suffer from the wrath of KULADAIVAM (पूर्वापासितदेवकोपं) during the DASA of the Lord of weak 9th
House , and the better half and children will get into troubles. The NATIVE will perform undesirable acts and
his father and one of his elder brothers might die. It is also possible that
the native will suffer extreme poverty (दैन्यं).
When the LORD of the 1oth HOUSE is weakly disposed
or devoid of strength, during the DASA period of the Lord of the 10th
HOUSE , the jobs undertaken by the NATIVE will not bear fruit , will indulge in
wicked deeds, might incur loss of honour
due to his wicked deeds , might
have to wander in foreign countries, will have to suffer inauspicious
happenings, and the person will have all bad habits by which will suffer from
dishonour.

श्रवणमशुभवाचां भ्रात्रुकष्टं सुतार्ति
भवपवयसि दैन्यं वञ्चनं कर्णरोगम् l
बहुरुजमपमानं बन्धुनं सर्वसंपत् –
क्षयमपरशशीऽयातिरि:फेशदाये ll “...........२०.
20. When
the LORD OF THE 11th HOUSE is adversely placed and thereby weak,
will have to hear evil news, the brother
of the native will get into troubles
The Native’s
son will become sickly and the native will himself will be in misery,
and will be deceived by others and he will suffer from ear disease. (कर्ण रोगं).
If the 12th House Lord is weakly placed,
then the NATIVE will suffer from invariable diseases, loss of honour , will be jailed or made a
slave (the word बन्धनं has several meanings.) and all his wealth will be
lost as the waning moon, or if born during the waning moon or during the time
of the waning moon. ( I feel it must be ‘if born during the waning moon )
“ ll संज्ञायां
यदगाच्च कारकविधिश्लोकेषु यज्जल्पितम्
कर्माजीवनीरूपितं फलमिदं
यद्रोगचिन्ताविधौ l
यद्यस्येक्षणयोगसम्भवफलं भावेशयोगोद्भवं
भावेशैरपि भावगैरपि फलं वाच्यं
दशायामिह ll “...............२१.
21. whatever is explained in Chapter
1 and Presiding Deity of Chapter 2. And whatever is said in on profession in
chapter 5 and those diseases explained due to many planets housed in the same
house in chapter 14, those said about the Effects of Aspects and association
with other planets in chapter 15, 16, 17 must be assigned to the DASAS of the
concerned planets during their DASAS.

वर्गोत्तमांशस्थदशा शुभप्रदा मिश्रैव सा चास्तमिते च नीचगे l
मृत्युस्वयारीशदशापाहारयोस्तत्र स्थितस्याप्यशुभं फलं भवेत् ll “.......२२.
22. Here in I must mention what
is meant by VARGOTHAMAM. When a planet
occupies the same RASI in two divisions, it is called VARGOTHAMAM. VARGAM = DIVISION and UTHAMAM means THE BEST. Vargothamam is more important when it
occupies the same RASI in RASI CHART & NAVAMSA CHART IN A HOROSCOPE.
Out of these, the VARGOTHAMAS created by पुनर्वसु (പുണര്തം , புனர்பூசம்), चित्र (ചിത്ര, சித்திரை), उत्तराषाड ( ഉത്രാടം உத்திராடம்). – All the SIX ARE VERY STRONG AND GIVE TELLING RESULTS..
Planets occupying
VARGOTHTHAMAMSA produce very favourable results during their dashas. The
result will be mixed if the planets are combust or if they are in their
debilitation signas or eclipsed by the rays of the Sun. Please also note that during the DASHAS OF
THE PLANETS POSITIONED IN 6th 8th or 12th SIGN
and during the ANTHARDASAS of any one of the houses mentioned herein.

क्रूरग्रुहस्तैव दशापहारे त्रिपञ्चसप्तर्षपतेर्विपाके l
तथैव जन्माष्टमनाथाभुक्तौ चोरारिपीडां
लभतेऽतिदुःखम् ll..........२३.
23. From the birth star if the Lord if the DASHA
OR APAHARA is in the 3rd, 5th or 7th Star,
there will occur theft or the person
will be troubled by the enemies or will be subjected to miseries provided the planet so placed is cruel or
malefic.
“ ll शनैश्चतुर्थी
च गुरोस्तु पष्ठी दशा कुजाह्योर्यदि पञ्चमि सा
l
कष्टा भवेद्राश्यवसानभागस्थितस्य
दुःस्थानपतेस्तयैव ll.............२४.
24. If in the order of DASAS, if the 4th
DASA is is GURU and the the 5th is KUJA and RAAHU, and the dasa
planet is in the final degree of the sign,
the result will be that it will bring misery and trouble to the native.
The DASAS of the LORDS of the houses of the 6th, 8th and
12th will also bring miseries to the Native. (Note : the person born with GARBHA SHISHTAM in KUJA , for him the fourth
will be SHANI DASA,, and for those born in GURU DASHA as GARBHA SHISHTAM, RAHU DASA will be 5th DASA
and for GURU DASA will be the 6th
DASA. Those born with KETHU DASA s GARBHA SHISHTAM , KUJA will be the 5th
DASA.)
“ ll ऊर्द्वास्यतुङ्गभवनस्थितभूमिजस्य
कर्मायगस्य हि दशा विदधाति राज्यम् l
जित्वा रिपून्विपुलवाहनसैन्ययुक्तां
राज्यश्रियं वितनुतेऽधिकमत्रदानम् ll “ .............२५.
25. If Kuja is in ऊर्ध्वमुख राशि (Oordhwamukha signs : The sign that Sun last
passed.,
The first
sign is called OORDHWA) or its exaltation similar to 10th
or 11th house, the native will become a king in its DASA. He will
win against all his enemies and possess a very huge army and vehicles. He will be
renowned and will give alms to all who deserve it. KINDLY GO THROUGH CHAPT 1 –
8. To knw more on this subject.
“ ll स्वेच्चस्थितो भृगुसुतो
व्ययकर्मगो वा
लाभेऽपि
वाऽस्तरहितो न च पापयुक्तः l
तस्याब्दपाकसमये बहुरत्नपूर्णो
धीमान्विशालविभवो
जयति प्रशस्तः ll “..........२६.
26. When in a horoscope SHUKRA is in exaltation
or in his own RAASI and is positioned in the 10th,11thor the 12th
house the person with such a horoscope in SHUKRA DASA will be glorious and
praised by many people and possess many gems and precious stones and will
expand his knowledge and will be praided by many people provided VENUS is free
from the influence of malefic and is not
eclipsed.
“ ll
नीचारिषष्ठव्ययसंश्रिता हि शुभाः प्रयाच्छन्त्यशुभानि सर्वे l
शुभेतरास्वेषु गताः प्रयच्छन्त्यमोधदुःखानि दशासु तेषाम् ll...........२७.
27. If Benefics are posited in their RASIS of debilitation or inimical signs 0r in the
6yh , or 12th HOUSES, they, during their DASAS will produce only
adverse results. If malefics are posited in the same way, the will cause
miseries during their DASA periods,
“
ll दशेशशत्रोररिगेहाभाजो लग्नेशशत्रोरपि
वाऽथ भुक्तौ l
श्त्रोर्भयं स्थानभयं तदास्य स्निग्धोऽपि
शत्रुत्वमूपैति नूनम् ll “.......... २८.
28. If during the DASA of a
planet , the Bhukthi Lord is inimical to the Lord of the DASA or in an inimical
House or is positioned in the 6th, 8th or 12th House or if
inimical lord of the house in which the ascendant is posited, the
native, during such apahaara period , will suffer from danger in the hands of enemies, will
suffer loss of position (स्थानभयं) and his friend will
become hostile without doubt ( स्निग्धोऽपि शत्रुत्वमुपैति नूनम् ).
“ ll यद्भावगः
पाकपतिर्दशेशात्तद्भावजातानि फलानि कुर्यात्
l
विपक्षरिः फाष्टमभावगश्चेदुःखंदि विदध्यादितरत्र सौख्यम् ll ” ..........२९.
29.
Any
HOUSE counted from the DASA’S LORD passes through the HOUSE where the Lord of
the BHUKTHI except in the 6th 8th or 12th House in which the effect
will be adverse, in other positions the
effect will be good.
“
ll स्वोच्चत्रिकोणस्वहितारिनीचे पूर्णं
त्रिपादार्द्धपदाल्पशून्यम् l
क्रमाच्चुभं चेदशुभं विलोमान्मूदे ग्रहे
नीचसमं फलं स्यात् ll “.............३०.
30. If the Lord of Benefic or a benefic lord is
in (1) EXALTATION (2) MOOLATHRIKONA ( POSITIONS WHICH ARE EQUAL TO THE
EXALTATION SIGN OR IN HIS OWN HOUSE COUNTED FROM THE SIGN OF DASA OCCUPIES the
result will be respectively good results, 75% of GOOD RESULTS and 50% I its OWN
SIGN (HOUSE). In a Friend’s house it
will be 25%.In its inimical sign or with malefic it will be very little or
nothing , When such situation arises when in debilitation or if combust the
result will be very bad.
